Apply for Green Fleet of the Year
Whether you operate a fleet of hybrid, electric, or alternative fuel vehicles, this is the award for you.
This award recognises the company in Ireland that operates a commercial green fleet of vehicles to distribute goods or people.
Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.
- Organisation background: Please provide a brief description of the organisation, e.g. when it was established, no. of employees, key skills within your team. Please also provide an indication of your turnover over the past three years.
- Fleet composition: please outline your current fleet composition of conventional fueled vehicles versus hybrid/electric/alternative fuel vehicles.
- Fleet utilisation: please outline how you use your green fleet, outlining any significant projects or initiatives that have been undertaken over the past 12 months.
- Outcomes & Results: Summarise the outcomes of these efforts including the contribution to business growth, fuel and CO2 savings, any other benefits to the organisation and the environment. Please include facts and figures to back this up, including any downward trends in annual figures.
- Executive & Employee Involvement: outline how sustainability has been embedded into your organisation, the level of senior management buy-in and the commitments made to staff training and communication of your sustainability initiatives.
- Future plans: Please give details of any future green plans, e.g. budgeting for green fleet expansion, investments in green technologies, or any other future sustainability initiatives.
- Include any other facts or statements that you feel are relevant to support the entry.
